Once there was a little egg that hatched and what came out was nice. A little bit of color and a beak of black. The little bird coming into this world had no idea that his entire race had all but been wiped out. There was no community there to help him learn how to be. He had his mom and his dad, but was bred in captivity. He never really understood what was going on around him in this world. From this cage to that but he could feel that it just wasn’t quite right or quite enough. Today was the day he took his first flap. Imaging if you will a life like that.  If he is capable to get out there and live against those odd, just think what you or I might be able accomplish too?
I call him Caaa, it’s not a word, it’s not a name it’s a sound and that is how Guacamayos speak. This photo captures the moment of his release.
